Our goal is to provide assistance and direction during service, so that there is a peaceful and orderly atmosphere in which the Lord can move.
The NLWM Usher Board assists the pastor with
making the service a success by putting the people in the right
frame of mind to receive the message. The Ushers meet the
people with a pleasant smile, a warm welcome, and direct them to
a comfortable seat. We also help to maintain order in and
around the church throughout the worship services.
The Usher Ministry likes to have fun. In addition to serving as doorkeepers, we participate in community projects, group fellowships, training & development and special events. The Usher Board is very committed to the youth in the church. Some of our events include visiting nursing homes, participating in church and Labor Day Fellowships, Youth Day outings, Annual Christmas Party, and many others.
