A native of Natchez, Mississippi, Pastor Jerry Baldwin came to Ruston in 1982, as a football coach at Louisiana Tech University.  In 1992, he moved to Baton Rouge, La to accept a coaching position at LSU.  In the Spring of 1999 he was named the head football coach at the University of Lafayette. The son of a Baptist minister, Jerry Baldwin operated in the

teaching ministry for a number of years prior to the establishment of NLWM.  He has become widely respected for his dynamic teaching of the Gospel.  His love for Jesus Christ and His teachings stem from a rich spiritual background that included constant home and church teaching of the Word.

A sought-after orator and enthusiastic advocate of the Word, Pastor Baldwin has been hailed as an inspiration to all who hear him.  His candid, no nonsense approach has endeared him to thousands.
